How This Benefits You
If you were to donate and when this project is
completed an increase of people traffic to the
surrounding communities is likely to happen. With an
increase of traffic through the area such as
Macedonia commons and other shopping weather it be the youth going
to the skate park or their parents driving them there
it is almost likely to increase the activity in and around the
local businesses which are located near or on the way to the skate park. With the above
and the opportunity to have a banner with your store
or city name on it will also help draw people to your stores. |
Opportunity Cost & Benefit of the Park Project
The opportunity for you to donate to a worth while cause.
The cost in this situation is the donation ofgoods, services,
money or a combination those things. The benefit is a safe
place for skating, biking and bladeing and the likely increase
of people shopping in the area.
Ex.
Galbadian Networks; LLC has donated $500 to the NHSBA
Corp.The opportunity cost of them donating money is that they
could have purchased new computer equipment for their business.
Although they may have spent it on a new equipment lets take a look at
the opportunity benefit. In exchange for the donation Galbadian Networks, LLC
will receive a banner that will be hung on the fence at the skate park as an
advertisement for their business. They may receive the incoming business
leads from the surrounding communities because of the sign,
which in turn could bring more business. Increase in business means
more sales and more money then they may have got from not donating.
Lastly, as a “Donation” to a “Non-Profit” Corporation it is
write-off on taxes. When you donate to a charitable organization
or a “Non-Profit” Corporation you can earn money back
from the federal government on your tax returns.
In all the opportunity benefits out weigh the opportunity cost for
